11 studios available at Industry City for artists who can demonstrate financial need. They are looking for ‘established’ artists (defined as working seriously in a studio practice for 15 yrs, not necessarily a level of critical or commercial success.) Spaces are already cut and under $1 sq.ft.
“Incubator studios at Industry City are low-cost studios that were conceived in response to the lack of affordable workspace for artists in NYC.
Industry City is a century-old, 16-building industrial complex located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn that currently has a limited number of work-only studio spaces available for artists who have sustained a committed art practice for a minimum of 15 years, and who can demonstrate financial need.
